The 8 Days Gorillas & Northern Tanzania Express wildlife safari comes with a promise of giving you the best authentic African safari adventure as you’re set to encounter the magical gorillas and African savanna wild dwellers. During this epic African safari odyssey, you will visit 2 of the best wildlife conservation areas in Tanzania that’s Serengeti national Parks and Ngorongoro crater which are filled with numerous wild mammals that range from Africa Savanna big five wild mammals which are the African lion, the Elephant, Cape Buffaloes, Rhinos and the Leopard. Some of the other wild mammals you won’t miss during this Kenyan tour include the Plain zebras, Masai Giraffes, Rothchild giraffes, the wildebeests. With a minimum of 550 Mountain Gorilla population and over 18 gorilla families that have been habituated for trekking, 350 bird species of which 23 are Albertine rift endemics and 10 primate species, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park has positioned itself as an ideal destination for an unforgettable gorilla trekking destination.
Safari highlights
Day 1: Arrive at Kigali international airport, meet and greet and transfer to a hotel in Kigali
Day 2: Today, engage in a Kigali city tour then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Park
Day 3: Engage in an epic gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Park and transfer back to Kigali
Day 4: Transfer back to Kigali and fly to Kilimanjaro airport in Arusha and transfer to a hotel here
Day 5: Drive to Central Serengeti and enjoy an afternoon game drive here.
Day 6: A whole day spent in the central part of Serengeti
Day 7: Transfer to Ngorongoro crater to engage in an afternoon game drive
Day 8: Transfer to Kilimanjaro airport where the safari ends.
Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Meet and greet and transfer to your hotel in Kigali
Arrival and pick up from Kigali airport by our safari guide and then you will be transferred to your hotel in Kigali to unwind from the jetlag

Day 2: Engage in a Kigali city tour then drive to Bwindi Park
This day begins with a visit to the Kigali genocide memorial museum. This museum captures the horror of the 1994 Rwanda genocide in which this country fell into turmoil as over 800, 000 are believed to have died as the Hutu people massacred the Tutsi in a period of about 90 days. After the memorial visit, you will commence your 170km or 4-5 hours journey to Bwindi National Park takes you on a spectacular journey through the countryside of this rather pristine country. You will get to encounter numerous Rwandans going about their daily activities and these will range from trade to farming their lands. Also, expect to be blown away by the amazing rolling hills of Rwanda which surely confirm to you why this country is referred to as the land of a thousand hills. You will cross the One stop border point of Katuna and the entire immigration process can take less than just 30 minutes depending on the number of people you will find attempting to cross. You will now drive to the southern end of Bwindi park which will also offer magnificent views of the towering hills of the Kigazi highlands. As you get close to Bwindi the impenetrable forest will start showing up on your sights and yes, they will be as spectacular as you have imagined them. You will reach your lodge where you will be welcomed by these friendly Ugandan smiling faces that will usher into your new home for today here in Bwindi

Day 3: Trek gorillas
This day you will get you to actually meet the gorillas as you engage in a memorable gorilla trekking experience which will have you meet these gentle giants in their natural habitat. You will spend an hour observing these majestic creatures in order to have an understanding about their habits which aren’t far from our own.

Day 4: Drive back to Kigali airport and fly from Kigali to Arusha
Today you will transfer to Kigali airport and fly to Arusha Tanzania. Upon arrival here, you will be received by our Tanzanian guide who will take you to your hotel in Arusha and rest for the rest of the evening

Day 5: Transfer to central Serengeti and engage in an afternoon game drive
Serengeti national park is the epitome of all Africa wildlife safari journeys as it boasts of being home to most of the African savanna wildlife species. the Serengeti eco system will stretch you gaze as it will seem to go on forever in every direction you look. A safari game drive is in Serengeti is indeed something that to look forward to by every African safari adventurer as it comes with returns of wild encounters ranging from Elephants, Lions, Cape Buffaloes, Leopards, Cheatahs, Burchells Zebras, Giraffes, and an array of antelope subspecies that roam these vast lands. The annual Wildebeest migration which sees over 2 million hooves of numerous wild animals make a tremendous and equally treacherous journey up North in search for greener pastures also happens here so if your timing is right you might just be able to catch it as it happens. At the end of this game drive you will transfer to your lodge and unwind from your today’s wild escapades.

Day 6: Spend a full day in central Serengeti with 2 game drives
You will wake up to the unbelievable sounds of wild central Serengeti and have breakfast which you will depart from the lodge and follow on of the numerous game drive tracks that have been carefully paved to optimize your chances of encountering many of the wild dwellers of this park. After about 4-5 hours of traversing Serengeti you will return to your lodge to take a lunch break in order to regain your strength that is very much needed for round two of game drive that’s to come.

Day 7: Drive to Ngorongoro crater for a game drive
Day 7 will have you cross to Ngorongoro crater, this crater is a constant reminder of how strong the natural forces that molded this earth particularly here were, the Ngorongoro crater is a remnant of the geological forces of volcancity that occurred here millions of years ago. After blowing off the top of what is said to been a relatively higher Ngorongoro mountain, this crater is all what is left behind and to your advantage enjoying a geological lecture isn’t the only thing that you’ve come here for, this crater is part of the larger Serengeti eco system and as such its filled with numerous wild savanna mammals and a game drive here promises nothing short of epic sightings of animals like lions, Elephants, Giraffes, Cape Buffaloes, Wildebeests, Leopards and Cheatahs etc all roaming these savanna fields.

Day 8: Transfer to Kilimanjaro airport
The last day of this safari will have you transfer to Kilimanjaro airport where you will catch your outbound flight from and this ends your safari with us
