This 12 Days Kenya visits Tsavo West, Abadare, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru National parks, Masai Mara and Samburu Game reserves and . These conservation areas are filled with numerous wild mammals that range from Africa Savanna big five wild mammals which are the African lion, the Elephant, Cape Buffaloes, Rhinos and the Leopard. Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Tsavo West N.p
You will be picked from your Nairobi hotel and be driven to Tsavo West National Park, upon your arrival in the park you will engage in an afternoon game drive that will expose you to the wild mammals of Tsavo West.

Day 2: Spend a full day traversing the Tsavo West N.p
This day will be fully spent traversing the savanna grassland of Tsavo west. This park is famous for its sightings of maneless male lions as well as large herds of Cape Buffaloes and many Elephants that are usually seen covered in a red dust which gives them an eerie look. When it comes to birds, this park boosts to be home to over 400 bird species which include the Pied Kingfisher, Golden Palm weaver, Eastern black headed oriole and many others.

Day 3: Transfer to Amboseli National Park
You will transfer to Amboseli on day 3 where you engage in an afternoon game drive some of the wild animals you should look out for include Cape Buffaloes, Elephants, Giraffes, Hippos, Zebras and Wildebeests. You might chance sightings of Lions as well here.

Day 4: Full day game drives in Amboseli
Enjoy a day on unlimited game drives as you explore the Amboseli eco system which is filled with savanna wild mammals

Day 5: Transfer to Nairobi
Transfer to Nairobi from Amboseli and have an overnight stay here

Day 6: Transfer to Samburu National Reserve and engage in an afternoon game drive
After having breakfast, you commence your journey to Samburu National reserve which lies about 340km or 6-7 hours drive away from Nairobi city. When you finally make it to Samburu, you will undertake a game drive here to see what this reserve has in store for you. Samburu National reserve is in the northern end of Kenya which is quite arid hence giving this reserve a very scenic appeal given its desert like environment. This reserve is home to quite a number of wild mammals with only the rhinos missing here out of Africans savanna big five. This reserve is also one of the few places in Kenya where you will have great encounters with smaller animals like the Greater and Lesser kudus. You will retire to your lodge in the evening for dinner and this will end the day.

Day 7: Enjoy a full day of game drives in Samburu wilderness
The 7th day of this safari will be dedicated to conversing Samburu in order to ensure that you maximise your chances of seeing all there is to see in this reserve.

Day 8: Transfer to Abadare National Park and engage in an afternoon game drive
Abadare National park is one of those parks that aren’t visited by most travelers coming to Kenya, however this park is quite a delight especially to travelers looking to visit destinations that aren’t frequented by many tourists. A visit to this park will yield for you sightings of the African Elephants, Cape buffaloes, Hyenas and a wide variety of antelope species such as Defassa bush back.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Nakuru and engage in an afternoon game drive
Today, you will drive to L Nakuru National Park, this park is located 170km or 2-3 hours drive from Samburu. Upon your arrival here, you will engage in an afternoon game drive, A visit to this park ensures that you are primed to encounter wild mammals such as the both the black and white Rhinos, Cape Buffaloes, Hippos and Giraffes. If you are into birding, Lake Nakuru is a birders heaven as its home over 400 bird species and its famous for its high concentration of both Greater and Leser Flamingos. Other bird species to look out for while in Nakuru include Greater white Pelicans, Abyssinian thrush and the Bateleur. After your game drive, you will retire to your lodge and relax on your porch as you take in the sights and sounds of Lake Nakuru.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park and engage in an afternoon game drive
Today, you will drive to L Nakuru National Park, this park is located 310km or 5-6 hours drive from Samburu. Upon your arrival here, you will engage in an afternoon game drive, A visit to this park ensures that you are primed to encounter wild mammals such as the both the black and white Rhinos, Cape Buffaloes, Hippos and Giraffes. Day 10: Transfer to Masai Mara Reserve for an afternoon game drive
This day kicks off with a transfer to Masai Mara. Masai Mara lies about 230km or 3-4 hours drive from Naivasha. Upon you arrival to Masai Mara, you will undertake an afternoon game drive which is meant to reveal to you the hidden wonders of the Mara plains.

Day 11: Have a full day of unlimited game drives in Mara
You will get to wake up to the amazing wild melodies of Masai Mara as you get to hear various animals sound their alarms and birds twitter to welcome the new day. You will have breakfast then go for a morning game drive to perhaps a different sector of Mara then an afternoon game drive is also available should you need it.

Day 12: Final day of this safari, you will transfer back to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta airport
This is your last day in Masai Mara and you will check out of your lodge and embark on a 270km or 4-5 hours drive back to Nairobi where your safari ends.
