Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Mombasa to Tsavo East N.p
You will be picked from your Mombasa city hotel or resort by our company guide and be driven to Tsavo East National Park in a 5-6 hours road drive. Upon your arrival in the park, you will engage in an afternoon game drive that will expose you to the wild mammals of Tsavo East which comprises of numerous wild animals including African elephants which are sometimes seen to be red after rolling themselves in the red dust of this park. On a good day, you might also spot the maneless male lions of this park.

Day 2: Drive to Tsavo West N.p for unlimited game drives
This day will have you cross to the nearby Tsavo West Park and spend the majority of it traversing the savanna grassland of Tsavo west. This park is famous for its sightings of large herds of Cape Buffaloes and many Elephants that are usually seen covered in a red dust which gives them an eerie look. When it comes to birds, this park boosts to be home to over 400 bird species which include the Pied Kingfisher, Golden Palm weaver, Eastern black headed oriole and many others.

Day 3: Transfer to Amboseli National Park
You will transfer to Amboseli on day 3 where you engage in an afternoon game drive some of the wild animals you should look out for include Cape Buffaloes, Elephants, Giraffes, Hippos, Zebras and Wildebeests.

Day 4: Full day game drives in Amboseli
Enjoy a day on unlimited game drives as you explore the Amboseli eco system which is filled with savanna wild mammals

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Nakuru and engage in an afternoon game drive
Today, you will drive to L Nakuru National Park, this park is located 300km or 6-7 hours drive from Amboseli. You will break this journey with a lunch break in Nairobi. Upon your arrival here, you will engage in an afternoon game drive, A visit to this park ensures that you are primed to encounter wild mammals such as the both the black and white Rhinos, Cape Buffaloes, Hippos and Giraffes. If you are into birding, Lake Nakuru is a birders heaven as its home over 400 bird species and its famous for its high concentration of both Greater and Leser Flamingos. Other bird species to look out for while in Nakuru include Greater white Pelicans, Abyssinian thrush and the Bateleur. After your game drive, you will retire to your lodge and relax on your porch as you take in the sights and sounds of Lake Nakuru.

Day 6: Transfer to Masai Mara Reserve for an afternoon game drive
This day kicks off with a transfer to Masai Mara. Masai Mara lies about 230km or 3-4 hours drive from Naivasha. Upon you arrival to Masai Mara, you will undertake an afternoon game drive which is meant to reveal to you the hidden wonders of the Mara plains.

Day 7: Have a full day of unlimited game drives in Mara
You will get to wake up to the amazing wild melodies of Masai Mara as you get to hear various animals sound their alarms and birds twitter to welcome the new day. You will have breakfast then go for a morning game drive to perhaps a different sector of Mara then an afternoon game drive is also available should you need it.

Day 8: Second day to be spent fully in Masai Mara.
You will get to wake up to the amazing wild melodies of Masai Mara as you get to hear various animals sound their alarms and birds twitter to welcome the new day. You will have breakfast then go for a morning game drive to perhaps a different sector of Mara then an afternoon game drive is also available should you need it. If your timing is in sync with the Wildebeest Migration, then you’re in for an exhilarating and quite frankly amusing sight as you get to watch thousands of wildebeests and Zebras trek these mara plains from Serengeti to look for fresh pastures. If you find them near the Mara river, then you will be bewildered by the rather peculiar behavior of these animals as you get to see them plunge themselves one after the other into the crocodile infested waters of the Mara river and the crocodiles will thank the heavens above as they get to feast on the weak, old and young herbivores that also don’t go down without putting up a fight of their lives in an attempt to ward off the crocs and make it to the other side of the river.

Day 9: Final day of this safari, you will transfer back to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta airport
This is your last day in Masai Mara and you will check out of your lodge and embark on a 270km or 4-5 hours drive back to Nairobi where your safari ends.
