10 days – Kenya Circuit Safari
Duration – 10 days / 9 nights
This 10 day safari by road covers many of Kenya’s key areas including Tsavo East National Park, Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park and the famous Masai Mara. Starting from Nairobi, this itinerary heads to the rugged landscape surrounding coastal Kenya, then to the open plains of Amboseli, through the lake land interior to Lake Nakuru National Park before ending in the Masai Mara, an area renowned for its big cats.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival Nairobi
On arrival in Jomo Kenyatta National Park, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for overnight.

Day 2 – Nairobi – Tsavo East National Park
After an early breakfast transfer to Nairobi train station to take the train to Tsavo East departing at 0800 Hrs to Voi Train Station arriving Voi at 1205 Hrs. From Voi Train Station, game drive in Tsavo East National Park by Gorilla O’clock vehicle. Lunch at Satao Camp. Afternoon game drive in Tsavo East National park ending with sundowner.

Day 3 – Tsavo East National Park
Day of game drives in Tsavo East National Park with lunch at Satao Camp.

Day 4 – Tsavo East – Tsavo West – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast game drive to Tsavo West National Park. Visit to Mzima Springs and continue to Kilaguni Serena Lodge for Lunch. After lunch drive to Satao Elerai Conservancy.

Day 5 – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast depart for full day in Amboseli National Park with picnic lunch. Return to Satao Elerai Camp late afternoon.

Day 6 – Amboseli – Lake Nakuru
Early breakfast and drive via Nairobi for lunch before proceeding straight to Lake Nakuru, which is notorious for its flocks of flamingos and pelicans. The park also boasts over 30 rhinos as well as a large population of leopards. On arrival to the park head straight to an afternoon game drive in the park.

Day 7 – Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
Lake Naivasha to arrive at Naivasha Sopa Lodge in time for late lunch. Afternoon relax at the swimiming pool or enjoy boat ride in the lake (Optional).

Day 8: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara
After breakfast you will drive past the extinct volcano of Mt. Longonot and Suswa into the homelands of the Maasai. The Masai Mara located on Kenya’s southern border with Tanzania, constitutes the northern stretch of the Serengeti and has the richest concentration of animals in Kenya. After lunch at the Mara Sopa Lodge you will have the opportunity to observe the unique world of the Masai Mara.

Day 9 – Masai Mara
You will spend a full day on a game drive which will take you through the vast plains of the Masai Mara searching for the “Big Five”: Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion and Leopard. For lunch you will return to the Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 10 – Masai Mara – Nairobi
After an early breakfast, depart Masai Mara with a game viewing drive en-route. Drop off JKIA for your outbound flight back home or to your next destination.

- 4×4 Land Cruiser or Safari Van.
